Our Core Purpose

Mission & Vision

Our Mission

To empower rural women and communities through appropriate technology, training, and support systems that promote sustainable livelihoods, health improvement, and poverty reduction.

Our Vision

To create a world where rural women and communities thrive through equitable access to resources, technology, and opportunities for sustainable development.

Our Impact

Creating Lasting Change Through Community Action

  • Global Fund GC7 – Community Led Monitoring (CLM): CAPTEC’s Program Manager and volunteers supervise Global Fund-supported health facilities to ensure equitable access to malaria, HIV, and tuberculosis care, while strengthening community engagement and accountability.
  • Integrated System Strengthening (ISS): In partnership with IVESS (Initiative for Visionary Education and Support), CAPTEC supported health facility supervision and capacity building for improved health service delivery.
  • Youth Value Re-orientation: CAPTEC organized a training in Alore community, Ilorin West LGA, focused on leadership, positive nationalism, and civic engagement — empowering over 130 youths and women.
  • Palliative Support (2024): CAPTEC collaborated with the Kwara State Government Palliative Committee and SSA Community to distribute food relief items, including rice, to vulnerable residents across Ilorin metropolis.

Through these efforts, CAPTEC continues to bridge the gap between innovation, empowerment, and rural transformation.
